Frequently Asked Questions
How large a sample size is needed for quantitative research results to be statistically reliable?
The minimum sample size for generalizing conclusions to the population is usually n=100. For segmentation studies or comparisons between groups, we recommend n=200-300 per segment. For niche target groups (e.g., industry specialists, companies in a specific B2B sector), the minimum sample size may be lower; we analyze this issue individually.
How is sample representativeness and data reliability ensured?
Sample selection is done using random or quota methods, tailored to the characteristics of the studied population (age, gender, region, industry, etc.). We utilize verified respondent panels and our own channels. Data undergoes quality control: inconsistent responses are removed, and internal response consistency is verified.
How much does it cost to conduct a quantitative or qualitative study?
The cost depends on the method, number of respondents, questionnaire complexity, and target market. Approximate price ranges for CAWI surveys with a Polish sample of n=200 can be from PLN 3,000 to PLN 17,000 net. Qualitative research (6-10 IDIs or 2 FGIs) can range from PLN 5,000 to PLN 14,000 net. ConQuest prices projects individually after reviewing the research brief.
