The ConQuest Consulting team completed a consulting project for the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, the largest university in Northern Poland in terms of scientific potential, the number of majors offered, forms of education and the number of students and graduates.

We provided the University with a consulting service consisting of Analysis of the potential of the water electrolyzer market in Poland. This is part of a larger project that is being conducted by UMK researchers. The project and its goals are an important contribution to solving a worldwide environmental problem. Efficient electrolysis of water is widely seen as a way to accumulate excess energy that can be produced by some renewable sources, such as photovoltaics. This excess could power the electrolysis process, which produces hydrogen.

What activities were included in the project?

First, we conducted a comprehensive survey Desk Research and Patent Research in terms of planned development investments in similar solutions existing at the scientific level. We then estimated the size and structure of the market, along with its forecasts.

As part of the project, we analyzed the major trends that are occurring in the industry, and researched the prices of commercial electrolyzers and electrodes.

All of the above-described activities allowed us to develop a report that determined the potential of the solution developed by researchers from Nicolaus Copernicus University.
