Activities
The project consisted of three stages. During the first, a questionnaire script was prepared and a quantitative survey was conducted. A CAWI survey was conducted with 179 respondents with type 1 diabetes to determine the glycemic measurement methods used by the respondents and their feelings about the new prototype. In the next stage, the project team invited 10 people from the target group to participate in individual in-depth IDI interviews, during which the prototype device was presented. The interviews lasted an average of 1.5 hours and were designed to accurately identify real and hidden feelings about the presented device and to help improve and adapt the prototype to users' preferences. The final part of the project was to analyze the results obtained and determine recommendations.
Results
The final report, along with a summary outlining the next steps defining the strategy for action and preparing the look of the device, was delivered on time, and the results allowed the AGH University of Science and Technology to make key business decisions. The cooperation went smoothly and ended with the issuance of a reference for our team.
